Online Istikhara

Online Istikhara (Clear & Correct Islamic Understanding)

Istikhara is a Sunnah method of seeking guidance from Allah when you are uncertain about a decision. “Online Istikhara” simply means getting guidance, instructions, or consultation online—not that someone else replaces your own prayer.

What Istikhara Is (Core Concept)

Istikhara means:

Asking Allah to guide you toward what is best for your dunya (life) and akhirah (hereafter).

It is commonly done for:

  • Marriage decisions
  • Business or job choices
  • Partnerships or investments
  • Major life changes

Correct Method of Istikhara

  1. Perform Wudu (ablution)
  2. Pray 2 Rakat Nafl Salah
  3. Recite the Istikhara dua (after prayer)
  4. Think about your decision and trust Allah
  5. Move forward and observe ease or obstacles

Istikhara Dua (English Meaning)

“O Allah, I seek guidance from Your knowledge, and I seek ability from Your power, and I ask You from Your great bounty. You have power, I have none. You know, I do not know. You are the Knower of the unseen. O Allah, if this matter is good for me in my religion, my life, and my outcome, then decree it for me, make it easy for me, and bless it for me. And if it is bad for me, then turn it away from me and turn me away from it, and decree for me what is good wherever it may be, and make me pleased with it.”
